All Saints Sunday - Worship and Remembrance
The congregation gathered for a single worship liturgy on November 2 to worship the Lord and remember loved ones who lived a life of faith, hope, and service to one another. We honored those dear ones who passed away since last year’s All Saints Sunday as well as all the Saints of the past 100 years of our congregation here in Mt. Lebanon.
Reformation Sunday - We welcomed the Bishop
This past October 26th we welcomed newly elected Bishop Melissa Stoller who preached on Reformation Sunday and celebrated our 100 year anniversary. She brought greetings from ELCA Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry who asked her to “…Please, share my greetings. I don’t know them. They don't know me, but maybe someday we’ll know each other.” She also reminded us that we are celebrating Reformation Sunday with Lutherans across the globe. And, echoing Pastor Heagy’s comments to us during the announcements, emphasized that the church is "always reformed, always reforming.” The congregation then greeted Bishop Stoller after worship at a reception celebrating Reformation Sunday.

Our 100th Year Anniversary
The Sun and Congregation Shine During 2025 Rally Day
Our 2025 Rally Day was glorious! Inspiring worship liturgies, kicking off the Sunday School year, serving the community through this year's "God's Work, Our Hands" service project, and fellowshipping with each other during our Centennial Super Celebration.
Highlighting the day was our 100th Anniversary Rededication Liturgy held outdoors under a blue sky and bathed in sunlight. We are thankful for the blessings of the past century and look forward to using our lives for service in the world.
