FELLOWSHIP

Mount Lebanon Lutheran Church

"Let no one look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.
~1 Timothy 4:12

Jesus often joined gatherings, and He encouraged fellowship among His people.  In similar fashion, members and visitors to Mt. Lebanon Lutheran are invited to fellowship each week between liturgies and to participate in other scheduled events.  Many close relationships have formed and are nurtured at these events.

At Mt. Lebanon United we believe in creating a space where young people can grow in faith, build friendships, and have fun. Our Youth Group is open to all students in grades 7 to 12, and we meet monthly for activities, fellowship, and service to others.

We gather for evenings filled with laughter, games, food, and time to connect with one another. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where young people can explore their faith and form meaningful relationships in the life of the church.

Growing in Faith and Community

The Youth Group offers students opportunities to:

  • Build lasting friendships

  • Serve the community through hands-on projects

  • Explore Christian faith in practical and relational ways

  • Participate in intergenerational ministry within the congregation

Our gatherings help young people connect faith with daily life and understand their important role in the church family.

Welcome to Mt. Lebanon Youth Group!

At Mt. Lebanon United we believe in having fun! Join us for monthly meetings, open to all youth in grades 7 to 12. We do all sorts of things during our evening meetings like enjoying activities, playing games and of course eating food

Our monthly events have included fun such as the Fall Kick-off Meeting at our fire pit and enjoying “Back to School” ice cream, various themed Art and Sports nights, Reformation Celebration, Hayride, Low-keyed Get Together, Ice Skating, and Pizza Celebrations.

We also participate with one of our church’s signature service projects. Twice a year we have a great time on Washington Road picking up litter and then having some food and more fun together.

Fellowship in the Foyer

On Sunday mornings, all are invited for a time of fellowship between worship liturgies.  Enjoy food, beverage, and conversing with each other inside or on the front lawn (weather permitting).
Noteworthy Sunday fellowship gatherings include

  • Mother’s Day
  • First Communicants and Confirmands Celebrations
  • Reformation Sunday Reception
  • Marty Party (Martin Luther’s Birthday)
  • Library Week
  • And many more!

Congregational Life activities

are held for members and friends throughout the year. Past events include:

Strengthening Faith Through Fellowship

At Mt. Lebanon Lutheran, fellowship is more than a program. It is a central part of how we practice Christian life together. Whether through shared meals, joyful celebrations, acts of service, or quiet conversations, we grow as a church family by supporting and caring for one another.

For Visitors and New Families

Visitors of all ages are welcome to participate in Youth Group and congregational fellowship events. These gatherings provide a comfortable way to meet others, learn more about our community, and become part of the life of the church.
